Nani’s Buildcon Private Limited is only five years old. In this short period, it has completed nine housing projects, accommodating over 150 happy families, and three projects are in various stages of completion, making it one of the fastest growing construction companies in Nagpur. Also in this short period, Nani’s Buildcon has established itself as a home builder people trust and want to deal with.
Nani’s Buildcon was founded in the year 2006 by Mr Yashwant A Khodke, a first-generation entrepreneur and the company’s Managing Director. A qualified engineer, Mr Khodke has behind him 20 years’ experience in the field of civil engineering, most of it gained in the Middle East and North America. It was his long stint with international companies which revealed to him the two secrets of business success: Professionalism and transparency. Needless to say, Nani’s Buildcon has structured its operations on the principles of professionalism and transparency and it is these principles which have been responsible for its envious growth in such a short span of time.
The Human Touch
Every stage of Nani’s Buildcon’s operations in executing a particular housing project is characterized by its human touch. Coming from a middle class background, Mr Khodke and the other directors of the company have an intuitive understanding of what the company’s target customers – the middle class and the higher middle class – want. They care for the personal happiness and convenience of customers. That is why the company spends much time and energy in selecting an appropriate site for a project and approving the most customer-oriented design.
Says Mr Yashwant Khodke: “While selecting a particular site, I ask myself ‘Would I like to live here?’ I do not want my customers to live in surroundings which I myself would not like to live in.” For Nani’s Buildcon, therefore, a potential project site should pass two qualifying criterion: (i) It should be in a good locality, in close proximity to a major road intersection, convenience stores, schools, clinics, bus stations and the like; and (ii) it should fit in the scheme of things laid down by Vaastu Shastra. As a lot of people want their homes to be built as per Vaastu Shastra norms, Nani’s Buildcon has made it a policy to design all its housing projects as per these norms so that its homes bring peace and prosperity to its residents.

Board of Directors
Besides Mr Yashwant Khodke, the other members of the Board of Directors of Nani’s Buildcon are M/s Sopan A Khodke, Arvind A Khodke and Amrut A Khodke.
Ranjana khodke, BSC MBA( Finanace) having total 12 year experience working in North America in Administration department and using her admin skill in growth of the company.
Mr Sopan Khodke is a diploma-holder in civil engineering. He looks after all project sites, monitoring and purchase.
Mr Arvind Khodke is an engineer by profession. He worked overseas for five years and looks after the constructional aspects of the company’s projects.
Mr Amrut Khodke is also an engineer with several years of experience in the construction industry. |
